Set in the picturesque southern tablelands of NSW, close to Canberra and the heritage town of Braidwood, our truffle farm has the perfect climate for growing the black winter truffle Tuber melanosporum. Set against a backdrop of the Tallaganda Range and harbouring an abundance of wildlife our farm offers a unique truffle experience. BLUE FROG TRUFFLES

The Blue Frog Truffle Farm (or truffiere), has been harvesting black truffles (T. melanosporum) since 2007.  The farm is located just north of Canberra (5 km from the ACT border), close to the Federal Highway and was established in 2003 with the planting of just over 2 hectares of oaks and hazelnut trees.  The area was increased in 2008, with additional oaks, to approximately 4.5 hectares.

ELVESGATE ORGANIC TRUFFLE

We’re a small family farm near Braidwood in NSW with a hectare of oak trees, producing truffle that is certified organic and biodynamic
Our high quality, dense black truffle are valued by chefs and have been enjoyed at places like: Sixpenny, Aria, Automata, Koi dessert bar, Omeggio, Saint Peter, Monopole and Victor Churchill.

Tricia and Rainer purchased their 100-acre farm nestled on the banks of the Shoalhaven River in 2004 as a weekend escape from the city for the family. Rainer a builder and Tricia a National Operations Manager, soon fell in love with the rural lifestyle and it only took about 4 years to turn it into their family home.
We have an open fun approach to life and the beauty of our property but we love to share our knowledge about the truffles.

GULAGA GOLD

There is an unfrequented valley, deep into Dignams Creek, in the south of New South Wales. Ringed by National Parks, with the verdant dome of Gulaga mountain looking down, this is where Fiona and Alan found the ideal place to establish our truffiere.

The mountain, with its deep rainforest gullies, once stripped bare by gold mining, provides the pristine water which sees our oak and hazel trees grow and thrive, while hidden among their roots the mystery which is the Perigord Truffle, our Gulaga Gold, begins its annual journey to the tables of lovers of good eating.

REDWOOD PARK TRUFFLE & VINO

Located in the picturesque Mandemar area of the stunning Southern Highlands, Redwood Park Truffle & Vino is set to become a driving force in the local truffle industry. Leane and Paul and their two young daughters established Redwood Park in 2013 and planted truffles and wine grapes on their 100-acre farm. They are excited to be launching the newest item in their Truffle Mad range of products, the world’s first “Paddock to Pour” black truffle gin, with truffles grown their farm used to create this unique and indulgent combination. We are so passionate about all things truffle, you could say we are Truffle Mad!

ROBERTSON TRUFFLES

Welcome to Robertson Truffle Farm in the beautiful NSW Southern Highlands. Our Black Perigord Truffle farm has been established for 15 years and was one of the first operating and producing farms in Australia. The town of Robertson is noted for its distinctive red volcanic basalt soil, which is known as ‘Robertson Soil’. The combination of this soil, good rainfall and cool winters with frosts is perfect for truffle growing.

Springrange Truffles is a family owned and run Truffiere with around 20 acres currently under truffle. Being located in the perfect climate for truffles, we prepared our amazing soil in order to plant our two year old French Oak trees in 2018.

TURALLA TRUFFLES

Established in 2005 on a Property near Bungendore NSW , Turalla Truffles is set on the picturesque Southern end of the Lake George Basin, a half hour drive from the nations capital. We grow “Black Truffle” or “Black Périgord Truffle” (Tuber melanosporum) named after the Périgord region in France. The French black truffle is the fruiting body of the fungus Tuber melanosporum.

TRUFFLE BARN

The Truffle Barn is a small truffiere in the Southern Highlands NSW. We have 2 varieties of trees, French Oak and Italian Stone Pine which host the perigord French black truffle (tuber melanosporum) and the bianchetto (tuber borchii). We manage the land using permaculture practices and our trees and truffles have been grown completely chemical and pesticide free.

We are passionate about caring for our planet and our soils. The Truffle Barn is a 100% off-grid, small scale farm. The trufferie is irrigated using captured rain water and the farm is completely powered by solar and on-site battery storage. We also aspire to transition much of our farm equipment to be powered by solar.

PEPPERGREEN ESTATE

PepperGreen is an award-winning Vineyard and Olive Grove from the Southern Highlands of NSW. Our olive grove is just down the road from the vineyard on the same rugged terrain. The team at PepperGreen Estate are using innovative growth and production techniques to grow and nurture our 55, 000 trees. These techniques will enable us to produce the largest volume of olives for the use of cooking and consumption in the region, all with a taste and quality of impeccable quality.

JOADJA DISTILLERY

Joadja Distillery is in the Southern Highlands of NSW, located in an 1870’s abandoned kerosene mining village.
The Distillery is one of a few single malt distilleries in the world to grow their own barley and have access to natural pristine spring water on-site. Our intention is to sustainably create and share authentic quality spirits that are true to the character, nature and heritage of Joadja Valley. The Scottish heritage in the valley and the history of “sly grog” inspired the Jimenez family toestablish Joadja Distillery in 2014 at the historic Joadja Town.

MUSSET HOLDINGS

We are a family of 5 with a small farm in the small Southern Highlands town of Colo Vale. Our farm started in 2016 to show our kids where their food comes from. We also wanted to create a sustainable and regenerative farm focused on doing the right thing for the environment, the animals, our family and the community. Our aim is to have a balance between crops and livestock to balance the nutrient cycle free from pesticides and herbicides.
